Oscar Feijoo is a Plainfield based educator who is focused on helping adolescents reach their full potential.  His current educational focus is on exploring past photographic techniques to develop a visual arts based science course, exploring Arduino micro controllers for robotics, and implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards.

Oscar Feijoo has exhibited photographic work in a group show "FASA" at James Howe Gallery 2004 and solo show "A Relic in an Ash of Dust" at Nancy Dryfoos Gallery 2005.  He has been published in Photographer's Forum: Best of College Photography 2005.  In addition, he has presented "Exploring Parallel and Series Circuits Through Thermoelectric Generators" at the New Jersey Technology and Engineering Educators Association Conference 2015 and "NGSS Middle School: Creating Nano-particle Models" at the New Jersey Science Convention 2016.  He was a participant teacher developing curriculum as part of the Rutgers University RU-RETE program from 2010-2015.  He is a teacher at Plainfield Academy of Arts and Advanced Studies part of the Plainfield Public School District.
